Annamarie and Kyle are coming by today to choose images from their engagement session so I took one of the images and tinted and grunged it.

We photographed the lovely Stegman families in Vilano Beach the day after Christmas. They had all come together and rented a house on the ocean. The wind was howling that day so we tried to pose between the bulkhead of the northern property but still hair was blowing. Nevertheless, the warmth of this family's love for each other was evident and everyone had a good time.

Today was Derek's last day and he came over to say goodbye and have breakfast. I asked him what he wanted to eat and he said "Biscuits and Gravy". The maple sausage, onions and sweet pepper gravey was really rich but I wanted to make a statement on the biscuits so I made them into heart shapes. They were light and flaky. Yum.

OK, I know that last shot was a bit somber but I had wanted to try out some different lighting in my studio and Derek didn't mind posing (Not too much anyway). I tinted this image.

My older son Derek moved to California today to live with his brother. Santa Clara is south of San Francisco but close enough to Santa Cruz to surf. Obviously, we will miss each other .

Here we have Erni's housemates posing beautifully for the camera. ..all the while Erni was zooming around them.GREAT dogs!!!

Puppy Erni had nothing to do with posing for her portrait. It was tough because being outside was so much FUN that she zoomed around like mad. It was fun to watch such a happy dog.

My friends Deb and Scott have a new puppy. The other two dogs and cat in the family have taken a shine to this little dudette. Her name is Ernestine but they call her Erni.

I just sent Rachel and Kris's wedding book mechanical to Italy for printing and while reviewing my designs, I wanted to share this image. They were radiantly happy!!
