Family portraits include different groupings and individual portraits

When I photograph a family with multiple family units, I always do a lot of different combinations of relationships as well as individual portraits. This session was difficult because of the time of day. It was shot at St. Augustine Beach at 10:00 in the morning...a worst time of day because the high strong sun really made people squint (even with the large shade scrim). However, it was actually fun and the Scott family had a marvelous attitude. AT the end, I took them off the beach under some filtered shade for the individual portraits.
