Toning family portraits in post production

Part of what I like about photography is what happens on my computer after the session. Generally post production from a family session takes anywhere from 3-6 hours...converting the RAW to jpg, culling the photos to a manageable amount, uploading and converting the chosen images to the proofing website, making copies of the raw and jpeg for the clients files, copying everything to external hard drives for safety but also the time I spend taking my favorite images and doing some artistic retouching, cropping and improvements.
