Butterfly Rainforest in Florida

Last month while Nelson was having some surgery in Gainsville, Florida, I had enough time to go visit the BUTTERFLY RAINFOREST at the University of Florida's Natural History museum. I had been there about ten years ago and remembered how lovely it was. Not only do they have botanists studying and hatching new insects there, the displays were nicely done. ANd the best part is an arboetum with a winding path with birds and waterfalls. Butterflies are feeding and flying around with chirping birds and rainforest plants. WHen you depart, you have to be inspected so that wayfaring butterflies do not escape. Evidently there was a huge monarch on my back that had to be retrieved before I left the arboretum. Its worth the trip!!
