Fort Clinch in Fernandina Beach is a marvelous photo expedition

Nelson and I took the day off yesterday in the gorgeous Florida weather to visit Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach . They were hosting a Union army enactment weekend with the historical society dressing up, firing a canon and teaching the public all about life in the fort in 1865. They were making breads, and meats and talking about the living conditions and history of the fort. It was so interesting. I hadn't been there for nearly 28 years and the fort has really changed into a wonderful place to visit and learn about the history of the island.
