Extended family beach portrait

The Abarelli family had their children and grands come into town for the week and wanted me to take some beach portraits. Since it rained earlier in the afternoon, the air was so clean and bright when we met up that it was brighter than normal. One of the children was autistic so it was difficult to get some of the group shots since he would move so quickly out of position. There were also a lot of beach goers but I have learned over the years to avoid them in the background by moving slightly. It is not always easy to crop out other people and obstacles so moving quickly and waiting for the moments can be difficult but is important. Thank you Carol for the assisting. They all were delightful!!
