Toddler portrait always challenging but fun

Charlie is now a year and a half and very active. I had fours sets prepared at my home studio and I never force a toddler to pose but rather play with him until he is comfortable to stay still for a second. I shoot from the floor on my belly so oftentimes, my back is sore after the session but this is the best angle for someone so small. To get a toddler to cooperate for an hour with no whining is an art in itself. Make sure the parents are only involved on your cue because parents who talk to their baby and urge them to smile only makes the baby more confused.
