Wedding in St. Augustine

Last Saturday I helped my friend Nancy Flynn of Nancy Flynn Photography shoot a wedding in St. Augustine. It was a really long hot day starting the journey at 9:30 in the morning. Middle Eastern weddings have a lot of traditions to capture. We started the day at the mothers house getting the Bride ready while the other assistant Carol photographing the guys. Then the wedding was at the Greek Orthodox CHurch on Bowden Road in Jacksonville....then back to St. Augustine for the reception at World Golf Village. Weddings are like a ballet continuously moving so as a photographer, you have to be on your toes constantly looking for good angles, best lighting and eliminating distractions. Its a LOT of work but satisfying when the capture is timed right.
